University of Rhode Island Track & Field

Was part of the Track & field team under Head Coach John Copeland, who taught me how to stay committed and disciplined in order to accomplish specific goals.
Participated from 2009-2011.

The Big Idea Group

A PR group in which we assisted the Alumni Association at URI with the Big Chill Weekend - a fundraiser to raise money for scholarships.

Lucy's Hearth

Assisted the homeless shelter for women and children from February-May 2012. Helped children with their homework along with organizing donations on a weekly basis. My experiences at the shelter helped me further recognize the joy I receive from helping others in need.

My Facility

This blog has allowed me to combine my interests in writing and sports, as I often comment, analyze and voice my opinion on anything related to sports. As a hobby, I have created this platform, sharing my own personal opinions. It is both meant as entertainment for myself, but simultaneously made to hone my journalistic skills.
